Q. Who can give me information about the villas I am interested in?

  • Our Villa Experts: People living in Fethiye and its region. Therefore, they have detailed information about the villas and the region. You will always be able to talk to someone who knows your preferred villas like the back of his hand! Just write to info@sunworldvillas.com or call the number at the top of this page.

 

Q. What is the maximum capacity of your villas?

  • The maximum capacity is clearly stated on the private page of each villa. Note: This number includes children and babies.

 

Q. Where can I check prices and availability?

  • Prices and availability for our villas are shown on each villa page. Just use the calendar function at the bottom of the page to see which weeks are available. Select a free week (or weeks), add the number of guests and/or bedrooms and the price for the selected period will be displayed. You can then submit a request or contact us for information. If you send us an inquiry, our Villa Experts will contact you to offer you tailored, expert advice and information. Q. How do I complete my reservation after deciding on a villa?

Q. How is the reservation processed?

  • In every reservation request made by us, you accept the Rental Conditions and unless otherwise stated, we will contact you for the prepayment of 30% of the rental fee to our company account via our website by credit card or money transfer, and your reservation will be confirmed when the payment is received by us. Then, Sunworld Villas will send you the confirmation document (document marked approved) by e-mail, fax or post. The remaining 70% is paid upon delivery of the villa.

 

Q. I have made a reservation, what documents can I expect to receive?

  • Shortly after booking with us, you will receive your booking confirmation and payment confirmation via email.
  • You will then receive your travel documents containing villa address information, your villa consultant’s contact information and directions to your villa. If you feel that any booking documentation or required information is missing, do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Q. What types of payments do you accept?

  • You can pay with any card with Visa or Mastercard or by Bank Transfer.

 

Q. Is there a minimum age to make a reservation?

  • Yes, the person in charge of the reservation must be 21 years or older.

 

Q. Do you offer travel insurance?

  • No, unfortunately we cannot offer travel insurance.

 

Q. Do you offer package holidays that include flights?

  • No, we do not offer packages that include flights.

 

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

  • We will cancel your reservation as soon as we receive your written confirmation of cancellation from the person who made your reservation. Please note that fees may apply.

Q. If I arrive before check-in is possible, can I leave my bags at the villa?

  • Usually yes. Depending on the conditions of the day, it is often possible to arrange an early bag drop off request. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

Q. What is required at check-in?

  • The key holder will require the national identity card or passport of all persons staying in the villa upon check-in; so that the details can be recorded with the provincial authorities. You will need to make your remaining Villa Rent Payment and security deposit payments to the key holder. Please feel free to contact us for details.

 

Q. What should I do if any damage occurs to the property during my stay?

  • If you notice that something is missing or damaged during your stay, please notify the villa owner or manager immediately so they can take appropriate action. If any damage or breakage occurs during your stay, we would be grateful if you report them immediately and, if possible, before check-out.

 

Q. Can I leave a review about my stay?

  • Yes, we’d love to hear your feedback! You will receive a link via email after you return home so you can leave a comment.

 

Q. Is it possible to arrive and/or depart any day of the week or do you have a specific arrival and departure day?

  • Our villas do not have a specific check-in day. You can check in to our villas on any date and day you want.

 

Q. When we arrive at the villa we rented, can we change it and move to another villa?

  • Unfortunately, such a situation is not the case. If you want to cancel your reservation, you can cancel it free of charge up to 60 days before your check-in date, according to our conditions. Otherwise, your deposit will not be refunded. For more detailed information about cancellation conditions, please review the "Cancellation and Refund Options" page.

Q. Is there a minimum period for renting a house?

  • The minimum rental period is 7 days for all villas. The minimum rental period is 5 days for all apartments.

 

Q. Who will be there to greet me?

  • Whatever your destination, you will always be welcomed home by a member of our team who checks and prepares your accommodation before each new arrival and is on hand during your stay to assist you if necessary.

 

Q. Where can I find all the information about my holiday?

  • We have created a special Sunworld Villas pdf document that brings together all the information and documents related to your stay: Arrival information, arrival guide, reservations for services and experiences, etc.
  • Access codes will be given to you by your advisor a few days before your arrival.

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED - FACILITIES AND EXTRA SERVICES

Q. Is electricity included?

  • Electricity is included in the rental price. We ask our guests to use electrical appliances and lighting responsibly and ecologically, for example ensuring that exterior/garden lights are turned off during the day and that air conditioning units are turned off when leaving the property or when windows are open.

 

Q. Is gas included?

  • Gas for cooking and heating is included in your rental price.

 

Q. Is water included?

  • Yes, water is included in the rental price.

 

Q. Is cleaning included?

  • All our villas are delivered clean upon check-in. All villas offer extra cleaning service upon request for an additional fee.

 

Q. Are sheets and towels provided? How often are they changed?

  • Yes. Upon arrival, you will find all beds made and towels for your entire party. There will also be a pool and/or beach towel for your use. Extra sheets and towels can be changed upon request for an additional fee.

 

Q. Is there a washing machine?

  • Yes there is. All our villas have a washing machine.

 

Q. Is there an iron and ironing board in my villa?

  • Yes, all our villas have an iron and ironing board.

 

Q. Will I be able to access the internet in my villa?

  • All our villas have internet access, including Wi-Fi connection.

 

Q. We plan to do a lot of touring around, but we don’t want to drive every day. Can you arrange a private driver for us?

  • Definitely! No problem. Speak to your Local Concierge before your trip and they will take care of the rest.

 

Q. Can you provide guides to take us to historical towns or archaeological sites?

  • We frequently arrange guides for our clients. We work with fully qualified guides who will give you great information about what you see.

 

 

ARRIVING YOUR VILLA, CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

Q. Where should we fly to our destinations?

  • There are many direct flights to our destinations: International Dalaman Airport, the closest airport, is preferred for transportation to Fethiye and the region. There is also International Antalya Airport for transportation to Fethiye and the region. For detailed information and advice, you can look at the flight pages on our website or contact your Villa Specialist.

 

Q. Do we need to rent a car? If so, can you arrange one for us?

  • We can create a car rental reservation on your behalf to enhance your holiday. We highly recommend renting a car for many of our villas that are not easily accessible by any other means. This also applies if you want to travel around and see the sights: public transport is often not very reliable or available. If you’d rather not drive, take a look at our selection of villas within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

 

  • On our site you will find a rental car booking engine that allows you to reserve the vehicle that best suits your needs for pickup at the airport when you arrive at your destination. Alternatively, to avoid queues at the airport, ask us to arrange a transfer to your villa and have your rental car delivered directly to your villa (not available in all destinations so please check with us).

 

Q. How do I find the villa and get in?

  • Before you leave, we will send you detailed directions on how to get to your villa. If you have problems, you can call your Local Advisor who will help you reach out. There will be someone waiting for you at your villa in Fethiye. They will introduce you to the house and leave the keys to you.

 

Q. When can I check in?

  • Check-in to your villa is possible from 17:00 on the first day of your stay. Once we receive your flight information, your Local Concierge will send you an estimated check-in time at the villa, taking into account the normal time required to collect luggage, pick up a rental car and get to the villa. We would be very grateful if you could confirm this estimated check-in time (or let us know a different time if you plan to do some shopping/sightseeing etc. en route) so we can ensure someone is at the villa to meet you at the agreed time. If you have any questions regarding check-in, please contact your Local Concierge. If you are delayed on your arrival day, please call your Local Advisor.

 

Q. What happens if my flight is delayed and I arrive at the villa late? Who will I notify?

  • Just call your Local Advisor. Their business cards are included in your participation package and their numbers are included in the House Directory.

 

Q. When do I have to check out?

  • Standard check-out time is 11:00 am (unless stated otherwise). It is not possible to check out after this time as the villas must be cleaned and thoroughly prepared for the arrival of the next guests.

 

Q. I will arrive at the villa late - the shops will be closed. Can I create an order?

  • If your arrival time at the villa is late, you can place an order with us at least 24 hours before your arrival at the villa. (There is a fee for this service) We will be happy to prepare your order for you.

 

Q. Who can I contact if I have a problem at the villa?

  • Our network of villa owners and colleagues are supported by the locally based Sunworld Villas team who are available 24/7 to ensure your holiday runs smoothly.

 

 

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. Where do you operate?

  • We provide exclusive access to the most exclusive villas in Fethiye and its region (Türkiye). Read our Story for more details.

 

Q. We come from USA. Should we bring an adapter or something?

  • You will also need a universal plug adapter as sockets in Turkiye are designed for 2 round prong plugs.

 

Q. We were planning to bring some DVDs from USA. Will these work on European DVD players?

  • Unfortunately probably not. USA DVD players and discs are "Region 1", while European DVD players are "Region 2", so they are incompatible. Most of our villas have TVs loaded with Sky Movies or Netlix/Amazon Prime, so you won’t have to go completely movie-free.

 

Q. Will my USA mobile phone work in Europe?

  • If you have a GSM mobile phone it will work in Europe. When you arrive you can purchase a SIM card (you will need your ID for this) and replace your US SIM card with it. However, we recommend that you talk to your network provider or local mobile phone dealer.

 

Q. Can I smoke in the villa?

  • Smoking is not allowed in our villas. Smokers are politely asked to smoke outside.

 

Q. Do your villas accept pets?

  • Pets are not accepted in our villas.

Q. How safe are the places you visit?

  • All our areas are very safe. Fethiye and its area are safer than other cities in Turkiye (and indeed the rest of the world) and as long as you take normal precautions you shouldn’t have any problems.
